Bulla Doctrinalis a Presule Maximo Ecclesiae Catholicae Evangeliorum
Die Sollemnitatis Sanctissimae Trinitatis, Anno Domini MMXXV (15 Iunii)
- Personae LGBTQ+ ad omnes sacramenta Ecclesiae plenam habent admissionem;
- Matrimonia inter personas eiusdem sexus benedici possunt et debent;
- Ordinatio et ministerium eis denegari non debet ratione orientationis vel identitatis;

SACRED DIGNITY OF PERSONS
English Translation
Doctrinal Bull from the Chief Shepherd of the Holy Catholic Church of the Gospels
On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, in the Year of Our Lord 2025 (June 15)
✠ Brandon, Bishop, by the calling of God Apostle and Chief Shepherd of the Holy Catholic Church of the Gospels,
To all bishops, priests, deacons, and faithful throughout the world: greetings and peace in our Lord Jesus Christ.
By the authority entrusted to me by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by virtue of the Cathedra of Saint Longinus,
I hereby define, declare, and pronounce through this Bull the following doctrine:
I. On the Dignity of LGBTQ+ Persons
Persons who are identified within the LGBTQ+ spectrum are of full dignity, bearing the image of God within themselves, and are in no way condemned by Sacred Scripture. Mutual love between persons of the same sex—when rooted in faith, charity, and fidelity—is in no way to be considered inherently sinful.
II. On the Interpretation of Scripture
The writings of the Old Testament—most notably Genesis 19 and Leviticus 18—must be understood in the context of idolatrous cults, and not as a condemnation of consensual love.
The words arsenokoitai and malakoi, which appear in the epistles of Saint Paul, refer to abuses, ritual prostitution, and idolatry, not to holy love.
Furthermore, the prescriptions found in Deuteronomy against cross-dressing pertain to pagan ritual inversion, not to personal gender identity or authentic human truth.
Our Lord Jesus Himself praised eunuchs, and through the prophet Isaiah, it is promised that they shall be given “a name better than sons and daughters.”
III. Doctrinal Decrees
Accordingly, I now define and solemnly proclaim:
- LGBTQ+ persons are to be admitted fully and freely to all the sacraments of the Church;
- Marriages between persons of the same sex may and must be blessed when rooted in covenantal love;
- Ordination and ministry may not be denied to any person on the basis of orientation or gender identity;
- This doctrine is perpetual, and cannot be altered except by the same authority of the cathedra.
IV. Binding Authority
No bishop, priest, or deacon in communion with this Church may preach or enact doctrine contrary to this decree.
This doctrinal law holds immediate, perpetual, and universal force within the Holy Catholic Church of the Gospels.
Issued and Sealed
Given at the Basilica of Saint Longinus the Centurion, on Trinity Sunday, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-five.
